Iron haremcollar with repoussé decoration of a battle scene featuring nine horsemen in armour in a late Mannerist style.
A symbol of the officer, and derived from the colletin, the harem-collar is a piece of armour placed around the neck and more particularly around the knight's collar.
A similar example is kept at the Musée d'Orbigny-Bernon in La Rochelle.
