"The Twins 2 Busts Of A Girl By Jean Victor Badin (1872-1949)"
I am very happy, because when I sell them, I will make someone happy. We don't buy these two sculptures to appear, we would be more in the appropriation, that is to say that we will think, seeing them, they are for me! So maybe I extrapolate with this title: "the twins", but it was my first idea when they imposed themselves on me in this attic. They come from the (already old) estate of a surgeon, art lover, main collaborator of Professor Debré. They are signed: Jean victor Badin, good sculptor, although rare in small dimensions; his work consists rather of monuments. His Wikipedia page lacks consistency elsewhere. They are made of red earth and are covered with a patina of white earth. two égrenures on the base. some patina wear on each nose, dirt because raw from the attic. I can clean them up on demand. Each of them has a Roman numeral on the back: I for one and II for the other.
