"Suite Of 12 Porcelain Plates Manufacture Schumann Moabit - Berlin (1845-1850)"
Rare suite of 12 porcelain dessert plates with entirely hand-painted floral decoration, from the mid-19th century. Each plate has its own bouquet decoration, so they are all different from each other. All the decorations were made by hand. The edges of the plates are embellished with a gold edging, however this is partially erased, some small lack of paint on some flowers, this being completely normal given their age and the use that has been made of them, none influence on the aesthetics of these plates which have kept all their charm. On the reverse, blue mark of the manufacture representing a golden eagle surmounting the initials SPM (Schumann-Porzellan-Manufaktur). Manufacture located in Berlin in the Moabit district. Stamp for the period 1845 - 1850. Contact us for shipping costs.
