"Lot Of 6 Louis XIV Doors In Fir"
The 6 Louis XIV period doors have been removed in a Strasbourg apartment. Two of them were glazed. Simple and elegant, they were designed in a dense and robust fir tree, as required by the carpentry work of the time. They can be pickled or simply scraped to find the original paint and thus reveal a patina with a charming decorative effect... These doors can regain their original function or become cupboards, bookcases, or at least any element of woodwork that will give an interior the aesthetic strength of ancient elements.
