Very nice contrast of foliage sometimes silver, sometimes golden. The snake in high relief on the frame forms a ring with the trunk of the bamboo in the middle of the scabbard, allowing it to be worn on the belt. And on the opposite side, end of the Tsuka is the snake's head on the lookout in relief. It has a curvature at the tip of the blade, a form highly appreciated at the end of the Edo period.
