Very elegant blade of Tanto Sun nobi (寸延短刀), Mumei, certified and attributed to Iga no Kami Kinmichi 8th Generation, by the Kurashiki Token Museum, Kurashiki Sword Museum/Japan (specialized in Japanese blades).

Description : Sun nobi Tanto, Mumei, attributed to: Iga no Kami Kinmichi 8th Generation. Very good quality blade in very good condition, Tamahagane steel. In old Shirasaya, long blade covering on each side, a different Bonji in Horimono and an engraving. In Shobu zukuri form, a single Mekugi, with an original Nakago (Ubu), authenticated according to its characteristics and manufacturing techniques from the late Edo period Bunsei era (1808-1828).
