Rare and beautiful nymph profile in Carrara marble carved in high relief in its gilt and chiseled bronze frame from the Louis XVI period, the nymph profile is skillfully carved, symbolically it could be one of the four seasons "spring" , the profile is without in a little previous to the reign of Louis XVI, the bronze frame was made to measure around 1780 because it adapts perfectly to the sculpted marble molding which delimits the medallion. - A beautiful object in its own juice not suffering from restoration or exterior alterations, the period gilding is present in full, the gilded bronze frame is of exceptional quality.
