"Kwere Mask, Tanzania"
Mask with an almost oval face presenting a face with rectangular eyes. The open mouth is also rectangular. It is surrounded by a vegetable resin used to maintain teeth embedded in the wood. Only five teeth remain. The eyebrows as well as the scarifications on the cheeks, the forehead and the nose are engraved on the mask.
