"Goddess Guanyin"
Terracotta statuette glaze glazed the goddess Guanyin seated on a rock .Epoque late 16th, early 17th century (late Ming Dynasty). Old restoration neck and mats (see last 2 photos). Guanyin looks toward the ground (earth and its inhabitants) with understanding and empathy, a slight benevolent smile on his lips.
