Measurements: 85x68cm with non-coeval gilded frame, and 65x48cm canvas only.
Condition: Good condition.
Description: This painting depicting a warlike clash between horsemen shows in the foreground two factions facing each other bloody. The artist succeeds perfectly and emblematically in immortalising the ferocity and impetuosity of the sad scenario. In the background we find immortalised the moments before the conflict. The painting certainly depicts a 17th century battle, but it is a composition from the 1800s, although at first glance it may appear to be from that period.
