Important oil on canvas depicting putti, after the famous painting the four continents, also known as the four rivers of paradise, is an oil painting by the Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens, dating from the 1610s. He painted the female personifications of four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and America) seated with the personifications of their great rivers, the Danube, the Ganges, the Nile and the RIO de la Planta.
