The boar’s head rests on a torse (wreath) leading to the double headed snake shank, crafted in high carat gold.
The boar is facing dexter with the tongue and teeth delineated by pierced gold work and features rendered with fine engraving. The snake shoulder’s have small applied eyes and the body’s length bears a cross hatched design.
