"Seashell Fishing, Bronze Signed Charles Anfrie"
Seashell fishing, Bronze sculpture with brown patina representing a young woman returning from shellfish fishing signed on the terrace C ANFRIE Charles ANFRIE (1833-1905) In the absence of information on his life, this artist exhibited at the Salon between 1883 and 1895. His work includes both French military subjects, scenes from the lives of young women and children, as well as meticulously chiseled medals.
