"Copper Watering Can. 18th Century."
Body formed by two curved, interlocking truncated cones; each forged and assembled by crenelated brass solder. The two handles, the barrel and the trigger guard are rolled from copper sheets and closed by stapling. Natural patina of abandonment, brown nuanced with green, highlighted by a light polishing. This solid watering can, with a rustic design, is the functional accessory of the gardener of yesteryear. Total height: 47cm. Diameter at the height: 26 cm. Weight 3.8 kg. Not waterproof. 18th century period. Beautiful condition. Light shocks and impasto of tin solder at assembly junction points.
