Albert Monier is a French photographer born May 3, 1915 in Savignat (Cantal), and died December 21, 1998 in Paris.
This humanist photographer was long excluded from the Parisian coteries. Nevertheless, he achieved international fame thanks to his artistic black and white postcards of Paris. In addition to the capital, a large part of his work is devoted to Morocco, where he lived, and to Auvergne, his native land. He illustrated several books. Exhibitions
