"C. Galle Or A.a. Ravrio, Pair Of Small Candlesticks"
Charming pair of small candlesticks in finely chiseled and gilded bronze, from the Directoire / Empire period, attributed to Claude GALLE or André Antoine RAVRIO. Faceted shaft and frieze of water leaves placed by three lion's paws on a circular base also decorated with water leaves. Beautiful original gilding. A slight defect on the barrel of one of the candlesticks (visible in the photos), and drilled for electricity. Otherwise good condition, and rare in these small dimensions: 19 cm high.
