"Goddess In The Heavens, 18th Century Painting, Ceiling Project"
Rare project for a painted ceiling representing a goddess in the heavens. In a coffered and molded ceiling, the anonymous artist painted a voluptuous naked goddess posed on the clouds with just a veil blowing in the wind. The colors are soft but the subject very well painted. We present this painting to you in its found condition, scratches, splits in the canvas, but what a charm for an unusual subject. Wooden frame.
