Very important sculpted inkstone, yàn, adorned with fantastic lions. Magnificent piece in remarkable condition with its original hat that can be dated to the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century. Very decorative sculpture and of good size for this ceremonial ink stone. These stones were part of the treasures of the scholar and carried an aesthetic and functional quality for high-level calligraphy.
