"18th Century Marquetry Cabinet"
Rare cabinet, simulating a diminutive cabinet with arched cornice. It opens with a drawer in the base and two doors which reveal a layout of small drawers inlaid with flowers for some and landscapes integrating houses within a village for others. In the center of this set, a small space forming a theater whose bottom and sides are also inlaid with flower motifs. On each door, a holy character, the door reverses are framed and present a Tagus panel in two parts, the sides are also inlaid with flowers and houses within a small village. The atmosphere created by this diffuse decor great peace. It is a rare and beautiful work from the 18th century, from a Rhenish workshop.
