Object description :

"Rcb (construction Bordelaises Realization : "office Console""
RCB (Réalisation Construction Bordelaise) Office console circa 1960, trays approximately 58 X 46 cm, with an offset of 10 cm, height 61 cm. Thanks to Gérard Bergua, whom I thank very much, I can finally give back to its real creator Pierre Poutou, designer and owner of the Mérignac factory where it was created and not to Dominique as I previously attributed it. Well, okay, she is "in her own juice", but what a line! It was necessary to dare to make such an offset for the second tray, an offset underlined by the "comet's tail" shape of the foot. Mounted on four wheels, it consists of two black lacquered resin trays (scratches, accidents, cracks), surrounded by brass ingot molds, united by a curvilinear foot in black metal. It bears a label from the tray manufacturer RCB in Mérignac. If its original use is no longer very useful, it will advantageously serve as a sideboard or side table. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone. Other photos and many other objects in our shops in Pau and Biarritz and on our website: galerielhoste.com.
