Lovely pair of Napoleon III ceremonial chairs in gilded carved wood with the seats covered with petit point tapestry embroidered with flowers, poppies and ears of wheat for one, and pansies for the other, probably wedding chairs.
In good used condition, to report some old restorations, very little visible, on the structure (2 collages and a small pompom redone) and some accidents in the upholstery including a black trace on the pink background, see last photos. These traces of time do not detract from the charm of these chairs. They are fragile objects, so to be used as ceremonial chairs.
