Superb pair of kerosene lamps of very good size and high quality. The glass is cut and engraved with garlands of bindweed. the mount is in gilded and chiseled bronze decorated with vines, shells, leafy frieze, the base is cut and openwork. The porcelain part with a light purple background is decorated on the front with a large bouquet of flowers in a medallion surrounded by a large frieze. The top features a chenille decor. The sockets are in the shape of gold ram's heads. The base is fluted in white and gold above a pedestal decorated with scrolls and a large gold fillet (with slight wear)
