"Large Especially In Gilt Bronze Attributed To Pierre Philippe Thomire"

This large centerpiece is composed of six elements surrounded by an openwork gallery of finely chiseled palmettes punctuated with cartouches decorated with swimming swans. The two end elements are rounded. The whole rests on bronze legs in the form of consoles. This center piece was separably adapted to a base in blued steel and gilded bronze in the 1930s and 1940s. This beautifully crafted modern work can be attributed to the famous Jansen house. Once assembled, the assembly forms a series of very elegant small pedestal tables with multiple uses.
