Henri Déziré, born in Libourne in Gironde on February 6, 1878 and died in Paris on October 31, 1965. Painter of still lifes influenced by Manet and portraits of the French school. Pupil of William A. Bouguereau and Gabriel Ferrier at the Académie Julian then at the Académie des Beaux-Arts. He started at the Salon of the Society of French Artists in 1904 with honorable mention and then exhibited in numerous salons, as well as in galleries in France and abroad. From 1906 he exhibited at the Salon d'Automne. He was entrusted with the hanging and the general organization of the show in 1930, and in 1932, it was he who produced the poster and the invitation cards.
