Chest of drawers from the Charles X period in speckled maple veneer, inlaid with a symmetrical decoration of foliage scrolls and geometric frames in amaranth on an oak frame. It opens with four drawers, including an upper one in the cove revealing a flap sheathed in red leather (original), four small drawers and a niche. Turquin Blue Marble Top. Parisian work of very good quality of cabinetmaking and in very good condition; some usual restorations Condition report and technical photographs on request. H. 95cm - W. 113cm - D. 58.5cm Provenance: May 1921, sale of furniture from the Château de Mortefontaine, (Oise), formerly owned by a residence of Joseph Bonaparte, successively King of Naples and Spain".
