19th century oil on wood panel painting with its original frame, representing a young man sitting on a bench in a park in an 18th century costume. Very interesting and pleasant work by Oreste Cortazzo, signature at the bottom right of the painting, a 19th century painter famous in his time for his fairly important works of the Côtes genre on the market and in the auction room. Oreste Cortazzo, Rome1836 Paris 1912, pupil of Léon Bonnat participated in many salons in his time including that of Paris in 1870, Exposition Universelle of 1878 and London in 1888. 1888. dimensions 38 by 50 to the frame.
