Mahogany Credence Sideboard
Presentation cabinet with its backsplash dressed in a mirror with beveled contours, this credenza is in mahogany. A decoration inlaid with light wood nets adorns the doors, the sides, the consoles on either side of the shelf and the legs. The pediment presents on its cornice an alternating frieze of small rectangular motifs in contrasting tones, and in the center of the band an oval-shaped medallion. The two openings, with a set of double panels, simulate 4 doors and give an original rhythm to the facade. The piece of furniture is stamped on the back with a large ink stamp specifying the name of the decorator or manufacturer: Ameublement Schmitt in Paris.
