"One-eyed Peacock Feather Mandarin Hat Ornament"

Mandarin hat ornament consisting of a tube, provided with a ring, in sculpted agate decorated with a shi dragon in relief, in which is slipped a peacock feather with one eye inserted itself in a thick horsehair bundle. This ornament was attached to the top of the hat and hung on the side (see attached photo).
Sold with the original paper packaging covered with inscriptions in red ink. China 19th
