Superb fireplace screen with country decor of reeds, ears of wheat and a straw hat accompanied by its satchel all carved on a background imitating raw wood. In its center a tapestry enhanced with embroidery decorated with wildflowers. Linden wood. Work from the Brienz region (Switzerland). Romantic period 1830-1840.
