Seventeenth Bronze Mortar
Very beautiful bronze mortar, with 6 wavy buttresses, with 3 points, and decorated with 12 identical antique busts (bust of Pompey) and 17 flowers on the border. First half 17th century. Height 107 mm / Top diameter 156 mm / Bottom diameter 94 mm Weight: 2004 Gr. The photos are taken twice: first with a flash which reveals all the details but distorts the color and the patina, making it seem is yellow, which it is not; a second time in natural light which gives a more consistent color but creates shadows.
