Born in Hanoi, Nguyen DUCMAN will then emigrate to Paris where he will be exhibited by the gallery owner René DROUIN. He left for New York in 1965 where his career took off as he received a prize from the Rockefeller Foundation and was exhibited by the ALLAN STONE GALLERY.
