Object description :

"Samovar In Silver Metal, Maison Christofle - Early Twentieth"
Elegant Samovar in silver metal from the famous Parisian goldsmith Christofle. Its founder introduced in the middle of the 19th century the technique of gilding and silvering by electrolysis, which marked the rise of silverware in France. The brand will decorate the greatest tables of the time, and is still recognized today as a refined and luxurious art company. This shaped piece consists of a kettle, topped with a lid adorned with a pull button in the shape of an open flower and foliage. This rests on a structure cut out on four legs, which includes in its center the heating element provided with a wick. True testimony to an art of living from another era, and goldsmithing know-how, this very beautiful Samovar will skillfully decorate your table.
