Rare Large Bronze

Rare and beautiful bronze, from the 19th century, representing a couple of Wolves on a terrace, beautiful chocolate brown patina, great finesse of execution, a pretty expression in the eyes of these 2 beasts. Fairly large volume for this beautiful piece, very heavy weight of 15.6 kg, beautiful proportions. The emblematic animal wolf, if any, has always been much more represented in painting than in sculpture. This bronze dates from the second half of the 19th century, my research did not allow me to find any information on the sculptor. Which does not detract from the quality of this bronze. Dimensions: Length 42 cm, height 42 cm, width 18.5 cm, weight 15.6 kg.
