Large oil jug in glazed earthenware Jug with 3 ribbed handles, pinched spout, belly decorated with wide fingered cords, very beautiful green glaze. Origin: Beauronne, pottery center in Périgord, west of Périgueux. ; period late 18th century, early 19th century These large jugs were used to store walnut oil for lighting. Pottery in very good condition; very nice decorative item. Height: 39 cm, width at the handles: 30 cm diameter at the belly: 32 cm
