Very beautiful painting representing a hunting dog positioned behind a terrace sniffing the product of his hunt where we can see doe, peredrix pheasant etc.... Our oil was made on a panel and bears the artist's signature in bottom right. Our painting is sold unframed. Adrien Simoneton was born in Paris in 1862 to Antoine Simoneton and Emmanuelle Ollive, creators of the Simoneton establishments, a world-renowned company in the textile sector, fire hoses, various filters, etc. Holders of numerous patents and awards have acquired in the various universal exhibitions. Adrien will prefer to choose a life as an artist: draftsman, engraver, cabinetmaker and above all painter. Landscape painter he will paint the bay of Naples, the bay of Saint-Tropez, then at the beginning of the 20th century he will be very influenced by the Barbizon school, indeed nature will be essential for him.
