Dumitru Haralamb Chiparus leaves his native town in Romania, he studies painting and drawing in Florence. In 1912 he was admitted to the School of Fine Arts in Paris. After the war he opened his studio in Paris and exhibited his works in the salons.
The artist's works are exhibited today in various international museums.
