Property Library In Walnut, Louis Philippe Period - Mid-19th Century

This property library, from the Loire Valley region, in solid walnut, has two doors on the front, the lower third paneled and glazed with barrotage in the upper part. The windows, period, and the panels have a bevelled edge. There is a small central pilaster with brass entrance, functional lock and key, all original. The uprights are dressed in a half-round strip, which ends in a quarter-round on the low and high crosspieces. This furniture is crowned with a cove cornice of good height. The interior offers six adjustable shelves on racks, with walnut edge, as well as two drawers with brass entry, lock in working condition and key, also all original. The chestnut back has four panels with chamfered uprights and crosspieces at the top and bottom. This authentic property library will provide interesting accommodation, thanks to its reasonable dimensions.
