Blown crystal ewer, curved and faceted. The crystal is finely engraved with floral and interlacing motifs. The crystal is set in an openwork silver frame decorated with interlacing, shells and rocaille motifs. The neck of the ewer is finely chased with foliage. The spout is closed by a lid whose grip is decorated with a relief motif. The interior is made of vermeil. The right handle is decorated with interlacing and foliage motifs. The base is decorated with rocaille motifs.
Hallmark of goldsmith: Victor Boivin 83 rue du temple.
Guarantee mark Mercury from 1838.
Period: Second part of the 19th century.
