Rare oratory furniture or Prie Dieu in rosewood marquetry in amaranth frames. It opens with a desk, a cupboard and a kneeler that goes in and out of the furniture. Entirely veneered on Oak, it is a Parisian production from the Louis XV period. Beautiful collector's piece of furniture, one of those rare little pieces that make an authentic collection, a real 18th century castle background to place in a bedroom. In excellent condition, our piece of furniture has been restored with a varnish with a pad redone in a traditional way. The rear cross member at the bottom replaced later. We can, on request, have our upholsterer make a cushion lined with silk to kneel more comfortably, which would fit into the space provided for this purpose (the kneeler opens) Height 89cm Width 59cm
