Most of Gabriel Pérelle's engraved work is devoted to Paris and its region, with a particular taste for princely residences. Helped by his two sons Nicolas and Adam, he produced several hundred engravings whose picturesqueness and density advantageously compensate for a sometimes approximate precision.
