"Pomponesque Bear"
Beautiful sculpture of a walking bear carved from two pieces of glued wood. The sculpture is not signed. It must date from the 1940s, 1950s. It is in very good condition, apart from a mark of a few millimeters on the bear's right front paw visible in the photographs. According to the person who sold it to me, the author was a sculptor who resided in Sologne.
