French school circa 1860: “Portrait of Achille Antonetti (1815-1889)”, pencil drawing on lightly exposed paper 7.5 x 5.5 cm (irregular cut), mounted under glass in a superb burl frame 11.2 X 9.3 cm, annotated on the back of the paper “To Antonetti Deputy Governor of the Bank of France”. It is a shame that we do not know the identity of the Artist because the line is of exceptional finesse and quality.
