*Henriette Marty, daughter of the enameler Alexandre, hired by the Camille Fauré workshop in the aftermath of the First World War, the one of those talented women, with a strong character.
With her father, she made small flamed vases (“Limougeaude specialty”) and frosted vases (grainy, bluish gray in color), stamped “Fauré Marty Limoges”.
Attracted by modernity and innovation, she researched relief enamel.
Each shape of vase used by Henriette Marty is associated with the name of a Limousin commune; thus, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Limoges, we can admire a splendid Art Deco vase, in a raspberry pink tone, whose ovoid profile corresponds to the Eybouleuf appellation.
One of the other superb vases acquired by the museum was presented at the Colonial Exhibition of 1931, its decoration unfolds in interlocking curves, in several tones of blue. She also produced cups and candy boxes and, with her father, won the Grand Prize at the Exhibition of the First Craftsmen of France in 1935.
