"Lounge Sofa" sofa by Xavier Lust for MDF Italia (Milan, Italy) published between 2000 and 2002 (no longer published since).
Giving the impression of a concrete garden bench, the metal structure is made of cold expanded steel (deformed metal technique), removable gray felt covering, base in chrome-plated steel tube.
Perfect condition, like new.

Biography: Xavier Lust (Bruges 1969 - ) is a Belgian designer, he studied interior architecture at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels from where he graduated in 1992 to found his workshop. He specializes in the use of metal by developing, from 1999, an experience based on new techniques for deforming metal sheets. This technique, applied to various pieces of furniture (notably Le Banc developed for MDF Italia, Crédence for De Padova and PicNik for Extremis), got him noticed and he participated in several exhibitions across Europe. He works among others for Driade, De Padova, Extremis and MDF Italia.

Distinctions:
- Young talent from the Henry Van de Velde Prize in 2003.
- Good Design Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design in 2004 (for his PicNik table, published by Extremis)
- Special mention from the Compasso d'Oro in Milan, in 2004 (for his Grande Table).
- In June 2007, the Grand-Hornu dedicated an exhibition to him. - ....
