Large makeup pot, with its knobbed lid, in soft porcelain from Saint-Cloud, circa 1725-1740. Blue monochrome decoration of embroidery on the border and sawtooth pattern on the base of the pot, as well as rosette patterns in reserve on the knob. Marked STTC and D perhaps for Louis-Dominqiue Chiconeau, active from 1722.
