Circular pot or incense burner in bronze with brown lacquer and formerly blue in the hollows enhanced with gold splash /parcel gilt in the spirit of the achievements of the Ming dynasty and earlier, the decoration as well as the form take their inspiration from the sacred objects of the Shang dynasty. Period probably around 1880-1920.
