Jacques Marie Omer CAMOREYT (Born in 1871) Boats at the quayside in a Mediterranean port. Oil on panel, signed lower left. 14 x 21 cm on view Genre painter, seascapes, illustrator. He was a student of Léon Bonnat, Fernand Cormon, Albert Maignan. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes français, of which he became a member, and won medals in 1899, 1900, 1905. He illustrated Ramuntcho by Pierre Loti and the gods are thirsty by Anatole France.
