Object description :

"Original Edition, Ulm Stool By Max Bill, Circa 1954 "
The ULM stool, designed in 1954 by Max Bill, Hans Gugelot, and Paul Hildinger for the Ulm School of Design, embodies the very essence of functional and minimalist design. Born from the desire to create versatile furniture for students, this stool quickly became a symbol of the Ulm School's pedagogical approach, combining aesthetic rigor with everyday utility.

Its simple structure, made of untreated beech and spruce wood, consists of two vertical planks and a horizontal plank, supported by a crossbar. This minimalist design allows the stool to function as a seat, a side table, a support, or even a lectern.
