"Box XVIIIthc"
Box , painted wood. French work of the eighteenth century.It is painted "beef blood" and covered with colorful silhouettes cut and glued, in the style of chinoiserie very popular in the second half of the eighteenth century.
The box is in good used condition, the structure is healthy but the decor is very worn and lacunary. The whole remains nevertheless full of charm.
