Beautiful Pair Of Candlesticks , Gilt Bronze, Shells And Acanthus, 19thc Neo Classical

Here is a powerful pair of bronze candlesticks, skillfully covered with beautiful gilding. The base, scalloped, with several evolutions, is thadorned with rows of pearls and geometric patterns, to finish in a bell engraved with stylized acanthus leaves. The barrel in trompe l'oeil column with 3 faces, framed by shells and surmounted by acanthus leaves. The cup is lined with a row of large pearls and the hexagonal candle holder consists of its 6 sides adorned with stylized suns. The candlesticks can be dismantled into multiple parts, fit with quality screws.
Good condition. However, we can note a difference in patina between the two, one seems to have been waxed and / or varnished, and unfortunately has 2 holes, for electrification. The other is nature!
European working, probably French, dating from the end of the 19th century, neoclassical trend.
